SiGMA East Europe and Affiliate World to run back-to-back in Budapest this September

Eastern Europe Journal 1 year ago

SiGMA East Europe’s third gaming event for the Balkan-Slavic markets in Hungary will be running back-to-back with Affiliate World. Powered by Soft2Bet, the SiGMA event will be held at the Hungaro Expo in Budapest from September 2nd to 6th, while Affiliate World is scheduled for September 5th and 6th.

The partnership will offer a networking environment where operators get an opportunity to connect with top-tier affiliates from a diversity of sectors, organizers said in a statement.

SiGMA East Europe is expected to attract a 9,000-strong crowd to the expo’s Pavilion E arena. About 5,000 new affiliates are projected to participate. Affiliate World also took place alongside the SiGMA Eurasia event, held in Dubai earlier this year.

Early this month, SiGMA opened the nomination process for the SiGMA’s East Europe gaming awards to the public. Nominations and self-nominations will close on the 31st of July.

An official shortlist will be announced shortely, after which a vote for finalists will open to the public and judges on the 7th of August. Voting for the 25 categories then closes on the 21st.

Judges for the awards include industry figures
such as Valentina Bagnlya, the CMO for SOFTSWISS; Mark Knighton, Global Head of Gaming at IDverse; Roger Strickland, Director at CSB Group; Paulo Mendes, CEO and Founder of Betmedia Agency; Sergio Muscat, Founder at Oxygia Consulting; Alessio Crisantemi, MD at GiocoNews; Mario Fiorini, Director at IGA Group Limited; Vincenzo Armato, CEO and Founder of ADV Revolution; Dmytro Paliants, CEO at Mayhem Partners; and Michelle Dvorak, Owner and CEO at MetroNY.

The event is being held at Hungexpo. Founded in 1967, the center has held major international conferences and exhibitions, such as the Congress of the European Football Association (UEFA), the annual general assembly of the UN-affiliated International Telecommunications Union (ITU) or Sirha, one of the world’s most important gastronomic events.

To learn more about ticket options and speaker and exhibitor opportunities, interested parties are encouraged to visit the SiGMA.World website.
