South East Europe Green EPC & Infrastructure | IRU

Eastern Europe Journal 8 months ago

South East Europe EPC & Infrastructure 2025 is the platform where authorities, companies and investors join voices to generate concrete and applicable economic solutions.

This year, the event is expanding its scope. Alongside its core theme, the strategic construction of energy production units and regional interconnection, the event will, for the first time, bring together leaders from transport and infrastructure, two sectors that play an essential role in Romania’s economic development.

The first day is dedicated to maritime, rail and road transport, analysing Romania’s position in the infrastructure linking Europe, Asia and the Caucasus. Authorities from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, Albania, North Macedonia and the Republic of Moldova will join, alongside representatives of international transport associations and global transport leaders.

Central question: Can Romania become an economic hub for freight transit in the new global context?

Why Constanța?

Constanța Port, located at the crossroads of essential transport corridors, is connected to rail, road, river, and maritime routes that facilitate trade links with Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.

As the largest port on the Black Sea and the fourth largest in Europe, with a capacity of over 100 million tonnes per year, Constanța has become a key logistics and economic hub. Its strategic role will be reflected not only in strengthening European trade corridors but also in the future reconstruction of Ukraine.

IRU President Radu Dinescu will be speaking at this event.
